Candidate Privacy Policy

Pulso People, Inc. · Effective Date: June 29, 2026 · Last Updated: June 29, 2026

This Candidate Privacy Policy describes how Pulso People, Inc. ("Pulso," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects the personal data of candidates in connection with our recruiting and staff augmentation services. By providing your personal data to us, or by participating in our recruiting process, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

1. Scope

This policy applies to personal data that we process about candidates — that is, individuals who apply for, are considered for, or are presented to our clients for employment, contract, or staffing opportunities. It does not address the data of our clients, employees, or website visitors, which are governed by separate notices.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of candidate personal data:

  • Identity and contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, and location;
  • Professional information, such as your résumé or CV, employment history, education, skills, certifications, and references;
  • Recruiting information, such as compensation expectations, availability, work authorization status, and interview or assessment feedback; and
  • Information from third parties, such as professional networking platforms and job boards where you have made your profile available, and references you provide.

3. How We Use Candidate Data

We use candidate personal data solely to operate our recruiting and staff augmentation workflows. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Match candidates to open roles and client engagements;
  • Evaluate, screen, and present candidates to our clients;
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, onboarding, and placement;
  • Manage the contractor or employment relationship following a placement; and
  • Maintain the records and communications necessary to support the activities above.

We do not use candidate personal data for any purpose unrelated to recruiting and staffing. We do not sell, rent, or trade candidate personal data; we do not use it for advertising or marketing; we do not build or sell candidate profiles for third-party use; and we do not share it with data brokers. If we ever need to use candidate personal data for a new purpose not described in this policy, we will notify you and, where required by law, obtain your consent beforehand.

4. How We Share Candidate Data

We share candidate personal data only where necessary to provide our services, and only with:

  • Clients, for the purpose of evaluating you for specific roles, limited to the relevant scope of information;
  • Service providers, such as applicant-tracking, hosting, and communication vendors, who are bound by contract to process data only on our instructions; and
  • Authorities, where disclosure is required by law.

We do not share candidate personal data with any party for that party's own independent marketing or commercial purposes.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to entering one, our legitimate interest in matching candidates with opportunities, your consent, and compliance with our legal obligations.

6. Data Retention

We retain candidate personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to consider you for future relevant opportunities, and to meet our legal and contractual obligations. When candidate data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You may request removal from active consideration at any time.

7. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect candidate personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse. Access to candidate data is limited to personnel who require it to perform the recruiting and staffing functions described in this policy.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, to obtain a copy of your data, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended. Because we do not sell or share personal data as those terms are defined under California law, no opt-out of sale is necessary.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@pulsopeople.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

9. International Data Transfers

Pulso operates in multiple countries, including the United States and countries in Latin America. Where we transfer candidate personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure that it remains protected in accordance with applicable law.

10. Children's Data

Our services are directed to working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
