This section describes how the PulsoPeople browser extension ("the Extension") handles data. It supplements, and should be read alongside, Pulso People, Inc.'s general Candidate Privacy Policy governing our recruiting services.
The Extension's single purpose is to enable authorized Pulso recruiting staff to perform recruiting-related automation on LinkedIn through Pulso's own backend systems, using the staff member's own authenticated LinkedIn session. The Extension is built for internal use by authorized Pulso personnel only. It is not distributed for use by external candidates or the general public, and is not intended to be installed by anyone outside of Pulso's authorized staff.
When installed and used by an authorized Pulso staff member, the Extension collects the LinkedIn authentication/session cookies associated with that staff member's own LinkedIn account.
The Extension does not read, collect, or store the content of any web page, does not collect data from any site other than LinkedIn, and does not access browsing activity beyond what is needed to sync this session data.
The collected session data is transmitted to Pulso's own servers, where it is used solely to authenticate recruiting-related actions carried out on LinkedIn on the staff member's behalf, as part of Pulso's internal recruiting operations. The data is not used for advertising, for profiling unrelated to recruiting, or for any purpose beyond this disclosed single purpose.
Session data is encrypted in transit and access to stored data is restricted to Pulso personnel who require it to operate the recruiting automation function described above. We maintain administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect this data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Session data is retained only for as long as necessary to perform the automated recruiting actions described in this policy. Once it is no longer needed for that purpose, it is deleted.
Authorized staff may revoke the Extension's access at any time by uninstalling it or logging out of the associated LinkedIn account. Staff may also request deletion of their stored session data by contacting us at the address below.
Use of the Extension involves automated interaction with LinkedIn. Staff using the Extension are responsible for ensuring their use complies with LinkedIn's own User Agreement and platform policies. Pulso People, Inc. does not control, and is not responsible for, actions LinkedIn may take against individual accounts as a result of automated activity.
